.270 and RL23

I would like to work up a .270 Win load with 140gr Game Kings or Partitions over RL23, but can't find a powder range as reference. Anybody got some info?

Here is the load data from Sierra for the 270 Win and 140gr bullet. First image shows the starting point with RL23 and the second image with the red asterisks shows when you start to reach max load. Goes without saying work up load as any other one.

I shoot a 150 berger at 57.3 of RL 23 so I would start at 55 and work up looking for pressure and you should be safe

This is for my dad's old Smith and Wesson 1500 (made by Howa). It's beat up, but still shoots lights out and has a lot of sentimental value. I have been shooting over RL22. But this year, we started hunting hogs in the summer and I have found RL22 to be very temp sensitive. I found a couple of pounds of RL23 that I am going to try to work up a load for the old girl that is less temp sensitive.

Should work great 23 is a very fine choice and you chose a great bullet in my opinion good luck with it
