I have a full size RCBS .257stw sizing die and a seating die. I also have a Lee collet neck die and seater. I am curious as to whether there is a .257 bushing die (redding type die) that I can use to neck size only, or will I have to special order a .257stw bushing die.

I have talked to the people at Lee and they told me that I could order an undersized mandrel. I might try that but ultimately, I would like the ability to play with neck tension with more versatility. The Lee collet die works ok but I seem to be getting random shots where my es is +20, from what would be single digit to low teen es. I think it is due to inconsistent and not enough neck tension.

Thanks

I have a redding set of competition dies for my 257stw. Uses the bushings. Should be able to get a 7mm stw bushing die and use the right diameter bushing in it.
I am sure that's what I have.
Send me a pm if you would like a pic or the part number.
I haven't used them in a while so I would have to look.
