Unfortunately, Barnes does not list either RL-22 or IMR-4831 (two powders I have in hand) in load data for their 100gr TTSX bullet. I do have an inquiry in with Barnes, but have not heard back in the several days since I sent that in.

Anyone here have a good starting load and can list where they started seeing pressure signs for these two powders and this bullet?

I haven't started load development, yet, so just wanting some good starting points and if you can point to where you started seeing problems, that would be appreciated as well.

I also have a small amount of IMR-4064 left over and could use that if no one has any info on the other two powders.

Hodgdon web site lists 46g starting and 49.2 for 100gr with IMR 4831. I would start at 43-44 just be be safe with The longer copper bullet. Starting for the 115 is 42.6 IMR4831

Yep, I have that chart. No RL-22, IMR-4831, or IMR-4064 listed for the 100gr TTSX (which is in reality not even on that chart). IMR-4831 is listed for the 115g TSX, though.

In my Barnes book the tsx and ttsx use the same data. IMHO both RL 22 and 4831 are at the "slow end" for a 257 Bob.

Here's some from LoadData.com

Thanks! Agreed they both are probably a bit slow, but they're what I've got (Which goes a long way these days. Powder is hard to come by.).

Should I be looking more at using up my IMR-4064 for this load? I've got about 1/3# left from a .270 load I'm no longer using.

I have found the hybrid 100v to be a great choice in the Roberts and it is pretty easy to find most times good luck with it

I will look when I get home and see where I was at with RL-22 and 100 gr game kings in my 257 Roberts. I do know that I was able to get up over book max with zero pressure signs. The 257 Roberts is my favorite deer caliber and Ive always had great results from the 100gr game Kings

LoadData lists IMR-4350, RL-19, Hunter, AAC-2700; and VV-N560. By the way, I'm waiting for my new 257 Bob barrel and I think Barnes will "go to" bullet.

I am shooting a 20" suppressed Ruger Hawkeye chambered in 257 Roberts.

I have had real good luck and accuracy with both IMR and H 4831. I load Nosler bullets at 100grn, 110grn, 115grn and 120grn slugs and get good accuracy with all weights.

I used the Hogdon reloading data to get a starting point and worked up from there.

The 257 Roberts is pretty much my favorite cartridge. A friends son used my 257 loaded with 120grn Nosler Partitions to take his first elk. Worked like a charm.

IMR4831 slightly slower than 4350 s ... you can work up your load by starting with a grain or two ABOVE MINIMUM 4350 data if you continue to have problems finding IMR483/ loads.

So I finally got around to finding my notes.
CAUTION work up to this load!
This load was actually developed using Sierra 6mm Rem load data
R.P brass
CCI standard primer
100gr Sierra Game King
48.3 grains RL 22
