250 or 300 savage brass

Walked out of a gun store and a savage 99 in 250-3000 followed me. Now I'm looking for brass if anyone has any to sell.

I'd like 250 savage but if I can't get it then I could neck down 300 savage. I guess price would depend on what it was

I have friends back east that form 300 Savage from .308 and claim easy peasy.

Well I feel stupid I just remembered the parent case for the 22-250 was the 250 savage I'm sure I can use that brass

I have heard that also. I am new to reloading. And have not tried it yet. I have enough 300 Savage brass right now for mine. But I may have to fiddle around, when I get the chance. I have dies for the 300 & I also believe the 250 Savage. I bought from a friend in a nice box lot. Some I may never use.

I'm new to reloading. I would be curious as to how you make out. I imagine you will be using better brand brass also ?
