25-06 max load

Can anyone tell me what the max load is for an 87 grain hornady h4831sc out of the 25-06

According to Hodgdon's web site, loads run from 56.0 to 60.0 for the 87gr Speer using H4831.

If it was me, I'd just start at 56.0 and work up watching for pressure and let the brass/primers/bolt lift tell when I might be approaching max load for my rifle.

Lyman Reloading Handbook shows 52.0 to 58.0 for the 87gr Hornady SP #2530 using H4831.

If H4831 don't work for you try IMR 4350 it is usually more accurate with light bullets 100 grs and under in the 25-06.

4831 not always the best or 4350 either.
