243 with retumbo

Anyone using retumbo with 105 vlds in 243? Is this the best choice for the heavy bullets to get top velocity or is something else better? Has anyone tried superformance in a 243 with 105's?

I've had the best results with IMR7828 with my 243's. I tried 47-49grs. Retumbo and couldn't get good results, plus it seemed real sooty come cleaning time. H1000 should work well if you prefer the Hogdon line.

I only shoot 70 & 85 grainers in my 243 but imr 4064 has always been the most accurate for me.

I use H1000 in my Savage .243 with the 95 VLD, 105 A Max, and 107 Nosler. All shoot .3XX"
