Guys, your opinion. I have a Brux fluted stainless 26" barrel on my 243W for shooting 105VLD. Shoots great. Wondering what you think the lightest VLD or any bullet for that matter would be stable in this barrel. Obviously I wouldn't be using lighter bullets for long range. Most just curious. Thanks

What elevation are you shooting?

If you aren't having problems with the 105s, why go down? Why not up?
Have you tried the 115 DTACs (1:8 may do them, but I think 1:7.5 is recommended).
Going lighter, I wouldn't go below the 90s, maybe the 87gr as the lowest.
But it's all what your rifle likes that will be the difference maker.
For the record, I'm a 105gr guy too.
