Small, light etc. but need SHORT bull barrel that's threaded for Supressor.

Just FYI: You can go to the Savage Arms "special order desk" and Effie will put together whatever possible combination of a rifle you could possibly want. You pick caliber, action, stock, barrel (length, weight, stainless, chrome moly, fluted, unfluted, threaded tip, etc.) You can have it custom built to your wants and desires and you'll essentially just pay retail price for what you'd pay for almost any of their rifles. The list of possible options is incredible. Will need to be actually ordered through a dealer. Anyway, just another way to go. I have ordered two rifles from them.

Just looked again. Shows 16" barrel on 243 but it's really 22". So the search is on still.

I just recently blew the dust off a 243 I had picked up a year ago .... it a very refreshing change from my Rums !
I really like it !
