.243 Load Help

I'm looking for an OAL to start with for my 243 load. I'm using 41g of H-414 90gr berger BT to start with but am unsure of an OAL to start with. I'm shooting it in a Remington 700 Heavy Barrel. Any help with this would be awesome.

If you got the starting load of 41 grains of powder the book should have also have a
minimum coal for the bullet.

My Lee manual confirms that starting load and gives a COAL of 2.710 for 243 Win. Max load is 43.5 grains for a 90 gr jacketed bullet (3185 fps).

You'll get varying answer becasue all chambers are different. You need to purchase a Hornady O.A.L guage. That will answer your questions better than we can. Good Luck.
