Help me pick a barrel for a 400 yard AR-15 in .223/5.56/.223 Wylde

20" max length
55-70gn bullets
Shooting suppressed
I'll be reloading for it
Predator and target

Thanks
Mike

I have three exceptional ar Wylde barrels with NO threading and 11 degree target crowns. All rifle length gas ports. 1:9 QPQ 20 inch,1:8 QPQ SS 20 inch, and a 1:9 SS 24 inch. My 1:9 20 inch was my favorite 3 gun match shooter. I used a no longer available highest BC 62 grain HPBT. It's a shame because I was buying them in lots of 5000 bulk. 24.5 grains of AR-comp powder. or 2000-mr both loaded to right at 3100 fps out of the 20's.

Faxon is the only name I remember. The other two were match grade and the 24 inch is a 4 pound fluted barrel. I use 8X32 power 56 and 60 mm objectives. I'm mainly a critter hunter and have shot 1500 rounds in 3 days. Heat waves become a real problem when attempting over 300 yard shots. Squirrel hunting on cut down alfalfa fields we use laser range finders to set up concrete blocks with wind flags all over the 200 acre fields so you can feed in the data on a ballistic calculator.

Thanks, I've been looking for the AR comp for quite a while now with no luck
Currently using H335
Go on wikiarms and/or ammoseek and you should be able too find some. Bruno's had some, but unsure if now and a few other places also.

Faxon at any length has worked for me along with Aero Precision. Other than that I have 2 factory builds (rock river, s&w).

H335 is very dirty powder and pretty fast on the burn rate chart. CFE223, Leverrevolution, 2000-mr, 748.
