220 eld x issues

finishing break in on a 300 rum right now was going to work up a load with the 225 eldm's but been doing allot of reading on here and seeing allot of complaints about the inconsistent weight and ogive witch is making me hesitate on even developing the load eventhough i already have a box. my question does the 220 eldx's have the same problems? only finding older posts on this paticular bullet nothing recent

I have had no issues with the 220 ELD-X, only issue i have is i cant load them long enough to fit in a mag and really take advantage of them, getting 2974 FPS, i would be better off with the 200 GR

I have checked the 212 ELD-X, 220 ELD-X, and 225 ELD-M. I have seen some inconsistencies of up to .008" BTO in a single box.
If you don't have a Wyatt's box, you will need to seat them deep. That does not necessarily mean poor accuracy, just a big jump to lands.
I run 215 Berger Hybrids in a factory mag length @ 3100fps over H1000 and a .160" jump into low .2s.

im running a big jump running mag length, but getting .6 groups at 200 with a factory barrel
