Anyone use the Speer Gold Dot 22Mag Short Barrel Ammo in a rifle?
I used to travel quite a bit and was gone at least 20% of the time over night. We purchased an additional KelTek 30 PMR when they first came out in 22 mag to go along with her 9mms.. Bought this for Jill to have next to her bed for Home Defense. Figured a low recoil high capacity (30 round with two extra mags) ammo count with a Red Dot/Laser/Light would be enough for her to ward off any attackers. I also have a Black Widow carry 22mag pistol. We purchased several bricks of Speer Gold Dot Short Barrel 22 Mag Ammo.
This ammo shoots very well with the PMR-30. No jams FTE. FTL. FTF.
Anyone using this ammo in the rifles (semi, bolt) for hunting and what kind of results/accuracy. Have more ammo than ever use for defense and don't want to use for plinking. May sell some off if they work well for hunting Rifles or if someone has a 22mag pistol for Defense.
