168 grain LRX in a .284 Winchester

2727 fps, like i said, very mild. I also run the 162 amax at 2860 fps with 52.8 grains of h4350. I found .58 G1 is an accurate bc for the lrx.

I shoot a .280 Ack. I was just curious. I haven't read much into the LRX, yet that is a pretty good BC for a Barnes Bullet.

I got my elk at 245 yards with it this year. He went 40 yards and tipped over. 3/4" exit and lots of damage in the chest. Took out the large artery above the heart.

I tend to lean more towards good marksmanship kills animals, not head stamp or bullet selection. Good shooting.
