Talked to a tech at Sierra about loads for my 26 nosler! Said they had pressure issues so they just drop the 26 nosler! Anybody loading the Sierra gamechange in 26 nosler?

I think they were politely trying to persuade you into a different bullet. A 130 @ 26 nosler velocities would be a grenade. If you want to go real fast probably best served with a mono

I know this is a somewhat old post but I'll be testing a bunch of bullets in the 26N in the next couple weeks including the 130 SGC. Plan is 120NBT, 120TTSX, 129LRAB, 130SGC, 130SSll, 140 Berger Elite Hunter, 140HVLD, 142LRAB, 143ELDX and 156EOL over Retumbo, US869 and H50BMG

I found the us869 was the fastest with pretty much every bullet I tried, I like rl33 with the 127lrx but the temp stability caused me to make 2 loads (below freezing and a summer) to keep it in tune.

I would like to give the 144 or 156 berger a go, it should be a good bullet weight for the 26.

Yeah so far Retumbo is all I've messed with in about half the bullets listed above. As most people have found out it's burn rate is just a touch too fast for the 26. I'm hopeful H50BMG will work out but assume I'll land on US869. If so it will be the first non temp stable powder I've ran in a serious hunting rifle. Guess we'll see
