^^^^^^. Bam ^^^^ definitely made it to the boonies on the east shore. We could certainly do without the idea's. Unlighted folks don't do well with too many ideas. But we have loonies here too, camped permanently in a big White House! They listen to those ideas along with others, and the state of Shiite this country is in just keeps growing. Exponentially!

Who knows, but I know on State land and the adjacent USFS land I can carry whatever I want. So maybe ask the NPS why the created the law?
If someone gets cited, what courthouse do they go to? That's right, Federal court in Fresno. With a Federal judge. Not a State or County courthouse.

Where does it say that it is a California policy? CA cannot set policy on Federal land.

From the article "California classifies bear spray as a weapon, and bringing it into a national park can result in fines or a federal misdemeanor charge. The ban catches a lot of visitors off guard, especially those coming from states where bear spray is standard gear for any backcountry trip."

If it's banned in CA then why can i carry it on the USFS land up to the border of NPS land?
And why can I carry it in CA State Parks? And literally everywhere else in the State?
That article is written by someone that doesn't know anything and likes to get people riled up for no reason.
It was a decision by the NPS Superintendent, simple as that. Has nothing to do with CA lawmakers or it's legal residents.
