In all seriousness, are not National Parks Federally owned property? So is this a state mandate or a federal mandate?Quite a few years ago, we were talking to a G&F officer at a "check station".
We were talking about a grizzly attack that had happened close to our camp while we were elk hunting. Naturally, the subject of "pepper spray" came up. So, I asked him if the spray was to "season" the bear after I shot it!
He thought that was pretty funny and commented, saying……"I've often wondered if I would try the spray or shoot the bear if a situation presented itself"!
I really appreciated his honesty! memtb
