Looking to see what suppressor everyone uses to hunt whitetail. Historically, I have used a CGS Hyperion K but I think I am going to get the CAT ODB when it comes out.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Agreed. I love how the Hyperion sounds but it makes almost every platform a musket.I like a can that are around 7 inches for a good compromise of length vs sound reduction.
I have the same Banish 30 also, no complaints whatsoever. I will admit that the Banish 30 is a bit long for my liking when screwed onto my 22" barreled .270. I looked at the AB Raptor 10 the other day and I'm strongly considering getting it for that rifle.I've been using a Banish 30 for a few years now. It has the ability to be shortened but I've never shot it that way. Many of rounds through it and no complaints.
Agreed however, I shoot suppressed a lot with a .308 20" barrel and it works fairly well. I'm going to shorten it down to 6.4'" and see how much difference there is sound wise. I expect it to be a tad louder but hopefully not a ton.I have the same Banish 30 also, no complaints whatsoever. I use mine on a 20" .308 also and it works a bit better in the brush.
