My wife just bought herself a 350 legend. A Ruger American gen 2 350 legend. She put a Vortex crossfire 2 3x9x50 mm scope on it. I bought her 2 different bullets so far.
Hornady 165gr ftx and 170gr interlock. But a little later on planning on ordering a 100 Hammer 125gr bullets. And Sierra 155gr pro hunter bullet. Looking for a box of Winchester 150gr xp bullets. If you know where a box is for sale let me know.

Powders I have so far.
Alliant 300 MP
H110
Ramshot Enforcer
Lil gun
Win 296
I have Winchester federal match and remington 7.5 primers. Starting out with Winchester primers. I have 5000 on hand. I have 100 Hornady once fired brass. And some Winchester brass too. I also have 300 once fired Jag brand brass. I looked at the reviews before buying it. It said jag was good brass. I'm going try it too see. I got a good deal on it. Even if the jag brass only loads 2 or 3 times. It will be fine. My wife dont shoot much. If I have too I will buy hornady or starline brass. I bought RCBS and Lee 3 piece 350 legend die sets. Along with with Lee's collet crimp die. Should I crimp or no crimp? She will use it for deer hog and coyote hunting. Even black bear hopefully. I have been reloading many many yrs. But never loaded a straight wall cartridge before. She wont shoot pass a 100 yds. So mite shoot at one 120 yds at the max. If I'm with her. She practice pass 100 yards. Any help I will take.

I reload 350L for a friends rifle. He is shooting a 125 gr maker trex and alliant 2400 powder in starline brass. His grouping is .037".
I tested several powders with several bullets. Accurate 11fs was best with the 170 hornady but the bullet left no blood trail on 2 deer so we switched to the 125which worked great.
Last season he easily dropped a doe at 200 yds with it. During sight in, he was ringing 6" steel at 300. He only missed the first shot until he got the drop figured out. Drops like a stone out there.
Alliant 2400 wasnt shown in most manuals at the time so i ran a ladder using GRT and nailed it. Dont be afraid to try different powders
Lil gun will give the highest velocities but just wasnt as accurate in his rifle

Hi i tried looking up maker bullets. Some Facebook stuff came up. I dont have fb. The hammer 125gr stone hammer. Is the one I was looking at. Also Lehigh has a 118gr out too. But I dont know much about them. I think a copper bullet would be ideal for her hunting. Be my 1st time loading a straight wall round. And 1st time loading copper bullets. Im going to try different powder and primers too. I have 200 starline brass coming too. Going to buy some Accurate #11fs. When I can find some locally.

The hammer should be an excellent bullet although my friend didnt want to spend the money to test them. Ive have superb accuracy with hammers in several other cartridges.

I tried factory for both the 350 and 400, and even loaded for each. I found some decent receipts and had good results. THEN, I tried Bear Creek Ballistics loaded ammo and their bullets. They work, and work well. I no longer load for either, I just buy their loaded ammo. You might want to look them up on the web. Even if you do not buy their loaded rounds, they have all the load data for their ammo on the site. Good luck and be safe.
