I recently obtained a 223 Remington and have trouble using my RCBS powder funnel as it has too large of an opening and will allow powder to spill along the outside of the case neck. If you reload for the 223 what powder funnel do you use? I would like to find one that isn't terribly expensive as I may or may not continue reloading for this caliber.
Thanks in advance,
Brian

There are several that work for 17 caliber and up, so just do a quick online search and pick the one/s you like. I have a couple of older RCBS that work well. While not my actual, below is an example pic of mine in 17-20 cal.

Lyman makes a great kit.

This is the one I have. I agree with the statement that it is "great". It empties quick, doesn't bridge with longer stick powders and having the bushings that are caliber specific allows for the funnel to sit on the case without support, which is nice when I don't have an extra hand.

It sounds like the Satern is modular with a drop tube available. I'd probably get that.

Oops I read birddog 68's post wrong. His MK Machining had a drop tube. The Satern does look good though so I'd still look at those.

I drilled out a 17 or 20 caliber funnel, to get a perfect fit for my 223 case necks.

Area 419 funnel kit. As I said before, you go from I am not spending $100 on a funnel to I should have bought this sooner.
