I bought a CZ457 MTR! Holy moly does this thing shoot, it's a little picky about ammo, but it loves Eley high speed 38 gr hollow points. Its even better with a more expensive version of Eley, but I'll stick with the 38 gr. for now.
I own a 453 I've had for twenty years, its good but nothing like the 457.
I put a Jard 4 oz.trigger on it, and I'm really afraid I'm sticking my head in another deep rabbit hole!
.5 MOA at fifty yards is simple. MOA at 100 is pretty much easy if the wind is calm. But cross winds, and swirling wind is nuts past 100. So far I've taken it to three hundred yards, with very mixed results. Some excellent, some oh crap, where did that go?
But I'm having fun shooting. Wife doesn't know that those boxes of 22LR near 20 C every trigger pull.
Found some Federal subsonic that shoots pretty good for general shooting @ 9 C a pop. Bought three thousand rounds of it.
Mounted a Arken ELP 4 6-24x50 , pretty good scope for the money, even if its made in China.
If I yell for help throw a rope down this rabbit hole!
