Scopes with a generous eye box

True but until you have any problem that affects being able to resemble not being able to comfortably get behind a gun you don't have an answer until you have tried several things and that was the best solution I came up with . It wasn't fun starting over and changing things around but you do what you have to do or set on the porch. David
 
By doing what ever I have to do to raise my cheeck weld so I barely have to lower my head to get a good cheeck weld has made shooting the most comfortable thing I have ever done and makes all scopes feel like they have a generous eyebox, and I mai ly.shoot a minox zp5 5-25 which already has a great eye box
 
Take a look at God-A-Grip cheek rests and pads. I use them a lot on women's guns to add extra comb height that they need due to their higher cheek bones and longer necks. Their comb attachments come in many different styles and shapes.
I personally like the eyebox of Sightron scopes. I like my Nightforce as well. For a less expensive scope with decent glass, Trigicon's 2.5-10-56 Accupoint is a good one and they are a tough scope.

Yes and no depending on design.
If you have a good 3-15 and a good 5-25, it's most likely that the 5-25 is going to be better at 15 than the 3-15 is on 15.
It all boils down to design though, and the higher the magnification multiplier, the more issues you will likely have across the magnification range.
The lower the multiplier, the easier it is to make it good across the whole range. Case in point leupold vx3, 3 is the multiplier and its is very low, so no matter the magnification it will probably feel better across the whole range, although a more limited range, than a higher multiplier, say 6x all else being equal of course.
Say like a 8.5-20 vs 4-24

I like Boyd's way of determining/measuring the right LOP.





@GUNNNN and @david g ranes, I do not envy your challenge, esp. when pain is involved, but I commend you both to sticking with your passion.

Extremely comfortable to shoot, just have to remember your scope is higher over bore for the coyotes that charge in

I really don't intend to do anything else I can still varmit hunt ,deer hunt and turkey hunt. The turkey hunting is over here and I hope to be able to get around well enough by next season to get after them. A prairie dog hunt is on my bucket list.
