I ran into a guy tonight that I haven't seen in a few years. I reminded me of when I first started working for his uncle. I asked them all to let me know when they were going to fly. They wanted to know why because most of the other guys didn't like it when they flew. I smiled and said so I can make sure all of my snares are set and ready to go. They laughed and said okay. So, they called me one evening and told me they planned to fly in a couple of days. I got everything checked. They flew and got three coyotes; I did my check and got five coyotes. I had seen that before the coyotes had already been flown and knew what was going on so would run from the sound before they got close enough to see them. Any way the guy I saw tonight was out locating with me one morning and we got a coyote to talking and knew where it was called the helicopter in and it couldn't find it. but I caught it in the fence snare close to where it had been talking to us. Another morning we called the helicopter in on one and they shot it about a hundred yards from us down in some really rough draws he wasn't too sure that he liked them shooting that close to us, I just laughed at him and said at least they knew where we were and they weren't shooting at us, and the hulls weren't dropping on us. I have had some interesting experiences locating for the plane and the helicopter!
