Two Morons, or do not bring an Airsoft pistol to a gunfight.
68 year old guy proclaiming he was ex-military. 31 year old guy challenged him from a few feet away, looks like 15 feet. Old guy pulled an AirSoft pistol (these look **** real!) and the Younger guy shot him in the chest with a real pistol. Then he claimed self defence. Read on!

Seeing how fast things went sideways there made me rethink how real some replicas look. I've used pieces from https://www.bespokeairsoft.co.uk/airsoft-gun/pistols for training and backyard plinking, and even up close they can pass for the real deal. Stuff like that stays in a locked case and never leaves the house, because one bad read of a situation can turn something harmless into a disaster.

First, I'd never pull an air soft gun on anyone during a confrontation. That ain't smart and it can get you killed, quick.

Why would the shooter take this to this level. I don't like for folks to impersonate or claim to have been in the military, but I'm not going to take it to this level with some guy on the street in a wheelchair.
Both are at fault here. But the shooter seems to be more at fault to me for what he was doing before the air soft gun was pulled. Instigating and badgering the way he did.
The victim should have never pulled the air soft gun in the first place. That's asking for trouble.
