TRACT with EB is the Awsome

Interesting story. At my range we have a PRS course. Went to shoot on the course yesterday. The course targets are 400ish to 900ish. I shoot using both the Eagle Ballistics app and the Revic App because I currently run a BR4 rangefinder. First station I couldn't hit a darn thing, and the targets are all in woods so you can't really see impact. Trudge over to the range to verify zero, maybe a zero shift, zero was spot on. Went back to run the course unhappy results. Finally decide to put the range into Eagle App on a 600 yard target. The Eagle solution was a fair bit different than the Revic solution, same data. With the Eagle App solution dialed in and holding for wind per the solution, bang followed by the steel ring.......

Lesson learned.

You learn to love the EB app😁

My Tract LRFs arrived a couple of weeks ago. Finally had a chance last week to get them up and running. Set up is simple and straightforward. Sync'ing from the EB App is simple. Glass is great. Ran our PRS course with it. Ranged the targets perfectly, ballistic solution were all spot on. In fact I was 20 for 20 until an unknown loose suppressor got me on the 1,008 yard shot off a downed tree trunk. Gotta remember to check that suppresser more often.....

First time I have used ranging binos. I couldn't be happier with the Tract LRFs. The glass is quite good, I have no hesitation to use them for hunting.

My mode button froze up on me yesterday and so I called and left a message with customer support then shot them an email. It was not much later and I get a call and email back from the owner Jon telling me what to do. This was at 830 last night. Way after normal business hours.

He said don't worry about messing it up but to see if I could get it "pop" back up. He said even if it was damaged in the process I would get a return label and they would fix it.
Now that is customer support!! I proceeded to do what he said and it finally became unstuck. So far so good but I have no worries that if it happens again they will take care of me. Thanks again and I am one satisfied customer !

How did you like the glass and function

I have Swaro El 10x42 to compare too. I will say they are so close that even in last light I will not hesitate to trust the tract binos! Super excited for the glass after looking at all the other ranging binos out there.
Function is spot on and super easy to navigate. All my stuff from your app moved over with no problems.
Quick question though. When I change the wind speed and direction of wind on the Bino it does not change it on the app. Not that I will ever have to look at the app anymore since I have the Eagle Ballistics calculator in the bino I was just wondering if I have a setting that's not right. I always if time allows like to double check before pulling the trigger.
James, you and Trac optics did an amazing job !
I really wanted Swaro to put your ballistic engine in there binos but there is no need now.

I am getting closer to pulling the lever on some of these. This is what I like….independent POSITIVE reviews from non biased folks. Keep the reviews coming.

Yes, I purposely made them independent from each other for wind or anything else once the gun profiles are uploaded into the Rangefinder. I don't want someone trying to rely on their phone while hunting if the phone dies for anything, though the wind buttons are live and Rangefinder, which means every time you update, wind or wind direction it automatically corrects for dynamic, jump, and wind holds without rearranging the Target. I'm glad you enjoy it. I have three of them here for my school and they're great.

I tested the Eagle Ballistics app on my phone all of last winter. Shooting targets at home out to a mile and prairie dogs in Utah out to 1167 yards. I also had my Kestrel 5700 elite AB to test them side by side. Best example is the 1167 PD. AB had me hitting high and right, first shot with EB data hit. The next day using EB data resulted in a first shot hit at 1127. I got in on the initial release of the binos and immediately set them up in tripods next to my zeiss victory fl's. I found the Tract to be a little brighter and a little sharper. I was ranging easily out to almost 1900 yards in a light rain with them. I used the binos in an NRL match last weekend. Data was quick and accurate. I'll be using them next weekend for the match in Price. I'm an enthusiast that shoots a lot of long range and have been waiting for RF binoculars that will give accurate data to at least 2000 yards on targets smaller than a house in less than ideal conditions. These meet my criteria. I'm not sponsored, compensated or otherwise associated with James Eagleman or Tract.

How do these compare to the Revic Acura BR10?
I'm planning to make a "buy once, cry once" purchase.
I've been impressed by everything I touch from Tract but those Revics get a lot of press and accolades on performance of the software and glass.
