Caldwell Velociradar ...

Too little too late. My labradar measures out to 100 and my Garmin is consistent. Large buttons, small screen. I'll pass.

LOL, I, too, have the LabRadar. Heck, I still have my Chrony, and it still works. I remember purchasing the Chrony; no one complained about the buttons or screen unless I missed it. I did not care for their other chronos, but I will keep an open mind on this, just as EC is.

~8:13 minute mark. My apologies if I offend/upset some members using this video. 🤣😍

Oh the humanity!

I guess time will tell on the Caldwell unit. I'd like to hear/see some reviews prior to taking the plunge. Seems like the Garmin is a no brainer right now despite the higher price.

I'm still using my Competition Electronics I bought for $140…cause it still works…

I do not try to keep up with the Joneses, so I have no issues.

EC doesn't badmouth anyone, he stays positive, and that's good for getting $pon$orship$.

No info on how well it will pick up little bullets going 4000+.
I don't use my Lab Radar anymore for anything. Too many missed readings even with the slower stuff.

I was reluctant to buy the Garmin due to the price, I am glad I did now. I take it with me to 2 different ranges where I shoot. I don't have to set up a chronograph in front of me and make all those time consuming adjustments. I can just set it on the table a foot or so to the side of the barrel, aim toward the target and start shooting. Now I use it all the time since there is no hassle.

Certainly see where you are coming from. I am the same. I only have an optical unit which must be set up . Often I don't use it because of this and lack the velocity #'s that I would like to later have.
