Garmin xero

I've used mine at least 4 times this month, 1-2 hours and no recharge. It's got good battery life. I use Area419 mount that has an Arca Swiss clamp on it (they make one for picatinny rails too) and it works pretty well. Sometimes it doesn't record. The LR does that too but no more and no less. The LR has conveniences as far as data format and retrieval but I don't think either are better in the peformance catagory... wait... that's not true. The Garmin doesn't round off velocity and the LR does. The Garmin calculates SD with the correct formula the LR doesn't. I have a spreadsheet for tracking load data so I don't really care about anything but velocity.
Here's a photo of the mount on my 8.6BLK:

Here's a screenshot of the latest 8.6 BLK load development with the missing data. I might need a little longer bracket but it works more often than it doesn't.

I think I remember someone saying there was no problem with suppressed firearms, correct?
I shoot the 8.6 suppressed (Dead Air Primal). When you set up a session you get the choice for 2 different velocity ranges. It's important to select the right range. It won't read subs if you select the upper range. Before you get to the speed setting you choose between rifle, pistol, and bow.

Flatbow the trick is a trade.Think of something SHE needs and encourage her to get it so she owes you something! Then the Garmin comes home.
Sneaky but works.I encouraged my wife to fly to Louisiana to see her sister and friends for a week and I get the Garmin in the trade.
I should feel guilty?
Not at all! Sounds like a great plan :)
