Holy cow. This thing is sweet. Been loading for a long time with an optical and didnt want to spend the coin on a lab radar given the quirks and the magneto on the barrel was a problem for me. This thing is worth every penny. Garmin hit a home run.

Yep love mine too, I am very happy I waited about 5 years for the Garmin. I was always looking for alternatives to the Labradar as I had heard their customer service was not real responsive.

How hard is it to update firmware?
I'm a person that prefers simple things when it comes to set up and use. The Xero fits this preference perfectly. Granted, I have not used it very long, but it worked perfectly from the start. I've tried most of Chrono equipment out there, and this is by far the best I used. This thing is tiny, but just works.
I know I need to get one but the day after I get one they will go on sale for 1/2 price.That how my luck runs.

Extremely easy. Pair to the Garmin app, and its automatic.
I doubt you will see it 1/2 price anytime soon. Maybe a sale once the demand catches up. I just wasn't willing to wait. I'd rather have it now. This time of year is reloading season lol.
I know.Kind of waiting for the Calwell Chirp Crono to come out.They say second quarter of 2024.I guess June or July will be a release date.

You can always wait for the next thing... You will be waiting forever. Their comes a time to finally just buy and enjoy.
Garmin is crushing everything outdoor electronics right now. I have had my Xero for I guess 5 weeks now and could not be more impressed. This thing has not missed a single shot yet.

Yes they did a great job. It updated immediately when turning on. Simple and compact. I love my Labradar but the compactness of the Garmin is very nice
