Metal shavings barrel obstruction

Ok. I talked to my smith after sending him the pictures. He knew exactly what it was and was very apologetic. He machined off the little ADL nub on my bighorn origin action to fit the bottom metal/magazine clearance. He did this with the action upside down in the milling block and forgot to blow the shavings out of the action. I did not notice the freshly machined area of the action. All is now well, thanks for the support.

See....nothing to get concerned about......
Sweet looking rifle...question is...
Is it worth the headache...or will it be for sell within first '250 rounds'...
🙄

Thanks, I'm happy with it.

Nah, no headache, this is my joy toy kinda stuff. For sell? Probably not considering I am lucky enough to have components to shoot it. These days you have to find those first before you choose your caliber, not the other way around.

I saw on Wyatt's website a video to mill that spot for extended mags. In any case glad it all worked out.
