Looks like wires from a wire brush to me. Don't know why it is there, but that is what it looks like.

I saw on Wyatt's website a video to mill that spot for extended mags. In any case glad it all worked out.Ok. I talked to my smith after sending him the pictures. He knew exactly what it was and was very apologetic. He machined off the little ADL nub on my bighorn origin action to fit the bottom metal/magazine clearance. He did this with the action upside down in the milling block and forgot to blow the shavings out of the action. I did not notice the freshly machined area of the action. All is now well, thanks for the support.
