    Observations on my TAC Ordanance

Hi gvonn, i try to improve my arrows too. You are still using the collars on your carbon arrows on the pictures? (those are no aerobolts, or I am wrong?) Did you solve the problem they getting destroyed, or you just live with it? I got 4 arrows "eating" the knock so far, only one i could...

    Tac Elite tube diameter

The tube on the elite has the commercial diameter. But it has a flat end like the mil-spec version. Depending on the stock you might get problems locking the stock in the last position. I bought an mil - spect tube and an magpul stock for mine, because i don't like this "hybrid" stuff. -Sebastian

    long shot

I don't know the longest confirmed bullseye shot. But what about the maximum range of an crossbow? I got an book here, says a guy called henry drake shot an arrow with an crossbow 2048 yards in 1988! Does anyone know something about some further distances?

serving on tac elite falling apart

The serving on the cables will suffer more, if pse raise the cams, because of the pressure on it ... I hope, this won't become an other issue. The problem at the end of the weights (like at my bow), results from sharp edges on the weights, it would be so easy to fix. I don't know how much money...

Anyone receive their Elite back from recall yet?

That is true, never understood why pse recommend his, just because you can't move the biscuit left or right. I also hope to get an drop away rest soon, but its hard to find someone who can ship it to Germany .

Anyone receive their Elite back from recall yet?

Mike, maybe it comes from the cam timings. Are you sure they match 100 percent at both sides? And at what ranges you tried to paper tune it ?

Anyone receive their Elite back from recall yet?

Be careful, I don't think the stock y - cables are long enough to work very well! If I put 1/8" feeler gauges between the cable guards and the cables on both sides, the cam lean is way too much! Those few twists you got are not enough, for the upper limbs. By the way, did someone know ( maybe...

Anyone receive their Elite back from recall yet?

i'm using a cheap fletching jig. I made my own 55 / 125 ring for it: The vanes are Bohning Impulse Vanes 4 ". Here are some pictures of an nocked arrow, there is space between the fletching and the cables, its hard to see on the pictures, my camera is not small enough to get so close: I...

Anyone receive their Elite back from recall yet?

I could only try yardages from 40 to 60, but i didn't notice any problems with my accuracy. The best: no damage on the fletching! I don't want made quick changes to all my arrows. I will continue testing, especially at long ranges. But i have to exchange my cocking rope and my d - loop before i...

Anyone receive their Elite back from recall yet?

I hope you keep me updated about your first shooting results. By the way, looks like it will take a while until the problem will be fixed by pse. So i decided to keep my tac here and handle the clearance problem by myself. I fixed that pin problem 2 days after i bought the crossbow, now the...

Did you try arrows fletched by pse or some custom made?

Anyone receive their Elite back from recall yet?

Thanks you for your quick response. The problem with the old setting (block + cams) was, that you have to pull up the string if you want to cock it. So the string on the block was higher as at the cams. Maybe they changed the height of the new block at the front. But it doesn't really matter...
