    Best misses

Thinning the doe heard in south Texas. Had a few out on a road less than 200 yards after shooting one lady i decided to sit still and hope another would pop its head out. Sure enough deer walks out at 50 yards, being rushed thinking it would run off soon I took a quick free hand shot at the neck...

Im actually the only person I know to have any problem with them. They always worked great before, and thousands of people use them with success. I may of gotten the one in a million bad batch. Thank god my mishap happened on an old smelly boar hog and not on a Booner deer.

That was one I was looking at. The VLS also caught my eye. Something about the wooden stock and blued barell. Is yours all stock or did you have any work done to it?

    Practice Rifle

How many hunters/shooters can really say they shoot to much? Looking to get a factory rifle that I can practice shooting long range. I was thinking a Rem 700 with a heavy barrel in .308 win. Sounds practical, easy gun to have work done on. Non- expensive rifle. Cartridge is easy to load...

Slick tricks all the way. One of the few heads out there that have the accuracy they claim. Mine shoot great out to 120 yards. ( sight won't lower any more). They are really sharp and steel used on the blades is really strong. Great kills on deer, pigs, and African game including lion and eland...

What to do with Mark V

Would having one of those rounds be worth the extra effort? ( fire forming brass, little extra powder, barrel life) How much gain would it be over the .338-378 WM?

What to do with Mark V

I'm a big fan of the .30-378 however I already have a 7RUM, .300 RUM and 7.82 Warbird that shoot great. So I figure since I have the action I minus well go with a .338. More than anything I want the build to be done right the first time and have confidence with it. I know it will be topped with...

What to do with Mark V

Have a Weatherby Mark V action. Was used on a .30-378WM Accumark. Now just have to decide on what kind of build to use it for. Considering a .338-378. Would like to be able to shoot 1200+ with it. Under 15lbs. Whats a good custom gun maker that could help with the build and supply good ideas...
