I'd recommend the Weaver Grand Slam. A 3-10x40 will cost you around $240. That is what I have on my .270 WSM. I used to be a Leupold only guy, but I now have 3 Grand Slams and love each one of them. They are extremely good for the money.

What game are you after? The calibers you list are about a mile apart in capabilities.

I am probably not the best person to answer that question. I do know that I have had better luck with rests than a bipod. I do alot of shooting from the bench developing loads however.
