Using your reticle to avoid brush

Hello all, Thought I would share something that a lot of you probably already use, but some of you might not. I use this for bow hunting as well, and I should have used this the other day. I was doing some long range target practice and I hit a couple of twigs from a tree that looked at a glance...

will the pending ban affect the bolt action aftermarket?

Don't think it will stop there (this current ban attempt). In Scotland, they are trying to (if they have not already) ban air-rifles. Some lowlife did something horrible with one, and then they use that as an excuse to ban all of them. Are we as a society going to use the worst criminals and...

will the pending ban affect the bolt action aftermarket?

They say banning FIXED magazines that can hold over x amount and as Broz pointed out, any setup where high capacity magazines might be used. This implies that detachable are not allowed at all. Will have to see what tomorrow brings. Yes, much of this does not make sense. It doesn't matter...

will the pending ban affect the bolt action aftermarket?

+1 It seems like all detachable mags are on the chopping block. That will make almost every modern rimfire banned (so many of them have detachable mag). Additionally, many bolt action centerfires have detachable mags and therefore may be banned. I wonder what magazine companies are going to...

    Assault Weapons Ban 2013 explained

Re: Assult Weapons Ban 2013 explained +1 Good post. Also, in her proposal is no transfer of these firearms, meaning even if it is grandfathered in, it is still ultimately confiscation.

    Feinstein's Agenda made Public

It looks like this is delayed confiscation. You can have it, but you have to pay extra for it, you can't transfer it to anyone else, you have to register it, and then when you die, it is confiscated. So, bottom line, it confiscated. I do not know if all pistols with detachable magazine would...

AR's are flying off the shelf!!

Not just that, if you wanted to go hunting in the next state over, you would first have to obtain permission from the BATF to cross state line with your firearm. Also, if you wanted to leave your firearm to your son or daughter or spouse (when you pass on), it would be illegal.

    Feinstein's Agenda made Public

It looks like she intends on introducing this on Jan 3rd! Time is running out to oppose this! Now is the time to support pro-gun rights groups and contact your representatives!

    Feinstein's Agenda made Public

If I understand this correctly, she has included such rifles as the M1-carbine as assault rifles. Everything under the ban would cost $200 to register, and the only place the banned article can go after you pass on is to the Federal Government, no inheritance of a family heirloom. Apparently she...

    CCW in Portland

I am upset by the recent shootings (Oregon and Conneticut). These sensless cowardly killings are beyond horrible. I am also upset by the almost instant use of these tragedies by anti-gun groups. I do not like how they turn a tragedy into their own political movement for there sensless pursiut...
