So I drove 2.5 hrs to a buddy place so I could shoot further than 200 yds. Great conditions to be shooting. 70 degrees, no wind, and clear. Checked zero at 100, then moved to 300. Calculator said 16 clicks, but shot 2.5 inches high. I don't know why. Moved to Max range of the area, 535 yds...

Only input that concerns Me is scope height. What's the most accurate way to measure that?

How accurate and dependable do you find ballistic software to be as fat as bullet drop and wind drift? The reason I ask is I can't afford to shoot groups at every 25 yards to develop my own, nut I want to be accurate at the same time. Thanks

What size target are you using for sighting in over 300 yds? Currently I'm using a 1/4 inch red square on a shoot n see target out to 200.
