I just got a Tikka CTR. It is amazing. The prairie dogs sure don’t like it.

I was very fortunate to have an excellent year mule deer hunting! The one where I am in the Cabelas sweatshirt is from Wyoming and the other one I got in southern Nebraska.

I discovered it hates Winchester 50 grain soft points and loves Remington 45 grain hollow points.

I just bought a Tikka T3 Lite .22-250. I am just wondering if anyone has helpful hints on bullets, loads, etc.

I have hunted the savage run a few times. It is pretty hit and miss for me. Way more moose than elk.

Filing the stock must have fixed the problem. I had the same problem with the rings in the beginning. The store put them on backwards.

I know for sure it isn't the scope now. I took it off and put it on my Tikka .30-06 and it shoots really well. I took off the stock and filed on the left side and put it back on. The bore looks really clean. The bases and rings are tight.

Normally, my 6.5x284 shoots really well. It had been in the safe a while and I put on a used Nikon 6-18x40 scope. I couldn't get enough right adjustment out of it. I put the old scope back on and sighted in at 25. I moved back to 100 and it moved about 6" right. I noticed the stock is touching...

I also like the Lapua brass and CCI BR2's.

I have been using barnes 127gr lrx with 44 grains or 4350 in mine. It is lighter than a lot of people load, but it shoots really well. They run about 2850 fps.

I am reloading for a 300 win mag on an old Herter's #3 press. I have an adapter for the shell holder, but it sits too high on the ram for the primer arm to reach. Does anybody have a shell holder that wouldn't need an adapter that I could buy or have another idea. I do have a hand primer, but I...

These are the whitetails that I got this year and last. It is neat to be getting nice whitetails in southeast Wyoming. These were shot about a mile and half and a year apart.
