Just got an email regarding the new Taurus TH10 SA/DA 1911 with a 15rd capacity. Doesn’t look bad for someone who wants a sub $600 1911. Says it’s a polymer frame. I like my XDM and would like a sub-compact. Don’t own any 1911’s, but this could be an intro into that market.

I have an XDM 4.5" and really like it. I am considering selling this one and getting the compact 3.8" XDME though. That way I can CCW if I feel like I need more than a 9mm. Maybe that's silly, but this close to the border, ya never know. Our main concern are kitties, tweakers, and cartel though.
