First of all, be safe. Then be respectful of the game you hunt, the land you are on, and other hunters. Always know where the property lines are....Once you have some success, show the younger generations the joy in it.

Meh, it may be "old school" to use bucks or something like that without replacement blades that needs sharpening. But honing a knife to extreme sharpness is relaxing for me...kind of like reloading...it's almost therapy!! Lol...

Thanks everyone. I never thought about the travel time of the bullet. My gun does have a 1 in 10 twist so, i might could get by pushing a heavier bullet. The only disadvantage i would have is a 22" barrel as far as velocity is concerned. I guess the only way to truly prove it out as a beneficial...

Hi all, so i've got 2 containers of H4895 opened that i've used for loading for a .308. My issue is now i'm unable to find it locally and i'm wondering if I combine the 2 containers if that creates any risk? I've loaded from both containers with no difference that i've noticed in performance...
