Thank you for your reply. I was hoping I could do that but upon further review it appears I may have a standard 20. The serial number is L832626X if anyone can help me confirm? If that’s the case standard slug barrels are tough to come by.
It's a real long shot here but I have a Remington 1100 in 20 gauge and I need a slug barrel for it. It is the LW model. Just checking if anyone has one they would be willing to part with. Thanks!
I recently purchased a CVA wolf with a stainless barrel. I realize that it's probably one of the lowest end muzzle loaders out there. My question is I seem to be developing a rust inside the barrel fairly quickly. Here is my process, maybe someone can guide me in the right direction or maybe...
I have my first muzzle loader en route. Looking for an excuse to get my 5 year old some more blind time for the muzzle loader season here in mn. Wondering if anyone has some 209 primers they would be willing to part with? Let me know what you have. Thanks!
I have a Remington 1100 20 gauge and I’m looking for a smooth slug barrel for it. From what I can tell it is the more rare LW model. Does anyone by chance have one they would sell?
I don’t currently hand load. The Barnes factory ammo is shooting .75 inch groups and I don’t plan on shooting much past 400 yards so I figured for this trip ill stick with the factory ammo. I know I could get groups even tighter but I about drove myself into an asylum getting it to shoot under 1...
My dad and I are headed out to CO in October for a rifle elk hunt. We both have our guns dialed in with Barnes ammo. He’s shooting a 30.06 in the 168 grain. I’m shooting a 7mm in the 160 grain. We each have 2 boxes of ammo but we are looking for more so we can be shooting this summer. I know...
Hugetesticles reporting an update here. Here is a summary of the work I had done. I put a vortex viper hs and rings on it when I inherited the rifle. I then had the barrel floated and had the action bedded with devcon. I got my rifle back from the smith who bedded it for me. I ordered a wrench...
Update on my dads Remington 700. My dad bought a remmington 700 bdl 35 years ago from a big box store. It has a wood stock and he’s done nothing to it. We replaced his red field scope with a vortex viper and floated the barrel. He had a 3 shot group touching at 100 yards. He had 2 shells left...
I dropped my rifle off to get bedded. It’s getting done with devcon. Could be a month before I get it due to covid. I’m excited to get it back and I’ll post results as soon as I shoot.
Quick update. I shot 2 groups after work quick after tightening the screws to the action. I didn’t have a inch pound torque wrench so I just hand tightened them with a screw driver. First two shots were a half inch apart the third was 2 inches from the first. Let the barrel cool and shot three...
