I had a muzzel break put on my .300WM and now the bipod doesn't leave the bench. It just shoves back instead of back and up. I agree with Jerry I use ear plugs under my Peltor ear muffs.

I now have my scope pounted to my Savage 110fp but with the Warne medium rings and the Nightforce tapered bases I need to raised my comb at least 1.25". What brands do people prefer? It doesn't have to be removeable or have pockets. Thanks for any info.

I just received my bases for my Savage 110 and they are supposed to be tapered. How can you tell if they are? The rear base says "NF" and the front says "SAV L" and "FT".
