    Long range Airgun hunting

    RWS 48 .177 ground squirrels at 100 plus yards. Lately it is the Kalibrgun Cricket Bullpup in .25, Athlon BTR 8-34x56. Ground squirrels at over 100 yards are common.

    My first choice would be a TX200 in .177. Accurate, hard hitting, and oh that trigger(adjustable). Mine is set at 2lbs. Crosman Premier 7.9gr CPL`s in the cardboard box or JSB 8.4gr pellets for out to :D if you practice, and Beeman/H&N Crow Magnums for under 25 yards on small pests. Good mount...

    question on airguns..............

    Caliber is your choice. Gas or spring, for the money, a GOOD spring gun will be cheaper because of production. A gas piston will cost more to produce, but GOOD ones can be adjusted for velocity. A spring gun can be tuned and a quality gun will last you for years and years before needing a tune...

    This is my first post. I have a Weaver V16 and it is a very nice scope. I am happy with the glass.
