How many rounds of virgin brass needs to be fired out of a given chamber before you start to get an accurate measurement on chamber size before you can get a good read on shoulder bump on a case. I have been reloading for several years and reading this forum for a long time I’m just a novice...
With powder and bullets hard to come by I was wondering if US 869 would work with 150 gr match kings. I was running low on other components I usually load. Any help would be appreciated
I have a savage/anchultz .22 that has a trigger issue. It will fire occasionally when the large safety is pushed up. It is a model 54 sporter. Any suggestions.
I’m just losing accuracy after the 40.5 gr. I’ve shot several groups at 40.5 at .5 they just open up with the higher velocities on the bullets I have tried. Really wanted to get the Varget to work. I have some imr 4895 and 4064 I might try out.
I have worked up a load that is very accurate but is only averaging 2450 FPS 40.5 gr Varget .015 of lands 168 Hornady match.
Very loose factory chambering and an extremely long throat. 26 inch factory remmey Varmint. Just curious as to what velocities anyone else is getting on similar set ups...
