Nice!!! You can't ask for a better shooting rifle than that! Doing a AR 10 build in 22 Creedmoor. Hopefully it shoots as good as my MPR. I know that's asking a lot out of a gas gun! I will update when I get my barrel and bolt from X-Caliber.

    New light weight Rifle build.

Oh okay. I am looking at getting a 26" barrel built for that one. I just bought a Christensen MPR topped with that same scope chambered in 6.5 PRC. It weighs in at 10.4 lb.

Okay. I know it says on the site that they start with a McGowen Precision blank and go from there. Do you know about how much his barrel weighed before installation?

I am looking at getting it chambered in the new 27 Nosler and running 170 EOL Bergers out of it.

    New light weight Rifle build.

Hey All! Looking at building a new light weight rifle with a 26 in or 28 in carbon fiber barrel. The only company that offers the right twist rate is Carbon Six. Has anyone ever used them?

They start with a McGowen Precision barrel then mill it down to your configurations and do the carbon fiber. Just was trying to see if anyone had used them.

Got a question for everyone. Have any of you used a Carbon Six barrel or know anything about them? I am looking at building a 27 Nosler in the next couple of months and trying to keep it under 9-10 lbs without ammo in it.

Thanks everyone!! I do 3 gun competitions and long range out to 950, because that's the longest shot possible at that property.

Hey all!! I am new to the forum and really liking all of the info. I am a backwoods country boy from Pa and just started about a 2 years ago shooting long range. There are parts on the way for a AR 10 22 Creedmoor build that I am stoked about getting a load worked up for it!! I found LRH by...
