Do any of you guys have a 338 lapua that weighs somewhere in the 8-10 lbs range?? I am thinking of having one built and was wondering how bad the recoil is when the rifle is that light. Thank you for any advice you may have.

I have used Zeiss Victory 10x42, Leica Geovid 10x42, and Swarovski EL 10x42. The Swarovskis are definitely the best, especially late in the evening. Then the Leicas, which are just a very small notch below the swarovski. And I would say the zeiss comes in third. They are all good optics, but...

Broz, I really like the senderos, but if I am going to eventually add a new barrel, stock, trigger, etc. in time, is the sendero's action going to be superior to just the run of the mill remington action which I could get for much cheaper? Lee
