If you really want a good and accurate 270 WSM that want kill your checking account look into the Savage Model 16 FLHSS. I learned the expensive way that factory Indian Heads are far more accurate than Stag Heads.

I had a chance to meet John and his wife at his shop. My neighbor had him build a 6.5 06 for him which shot great but that's another story. After touring his shop and getting a first hand account of his operation all I can say is he is top notch.

Nosler brass, prime it, load it and shoot it. It's good stuff. I use it in my 308. I would buy some for my 270 WSM but I just can't stomach $65.00 for twenty five cases. As soon as I can find some Norma in that caliber I'm going to buy 100 cases of it.
