    NightForce scope and reticle selection

So I have this new 338 Lapua and I'll admit I am somewhat new to longrange shooting. I bought a Savage FCP110 HS in 338 Lapua - I have the gun's little brother, the FCP10 HS in 308 that I regularly shoot out to 800 yards accurately, quite a gun. So with this new gun I am looking at the...

    Nightforce 8-32 - 56mm or 5.5-22 - 56mm for my new .338 Lapua?

The 32 has 65 MOA of elevation and the gun comes with a 20MOA base. Wouldn't that get me out to about 1500 yards maximum range? I doubt I would have the opportunity to shoot it any farther than that but you never know.

    Nightforce 8-32 - 56mm or 5.5-22 - 56mm for my new .338 Lapua?

Have a new Savage FCP110 - HS Precision .338 Lapua on the way and have decided to go with a Nightforce NXS scope with Zero stop and the NPR1 reticle. I will be using this gun at our extended yardage range shooting steel target gongs and just generally having fun and shooting from 800 all...

My new FN Win Model 70 Supergrade

I have always appreciated the pre-64's as well. Few of the gun rags are saying that with the new FN guns Winchester has finally bested the holy grail pre-64 rifles. And it only took them 50 years or so to do it....:D I agree that Winchester should really expand their caliber offerings both...

My new FN Win Model 70 Supergrade

thanks guys. appreciate the compliments. Prolly going to be three weeks to a month before I get out to shoot it but I will report back after I am satisfied that it is well broken in. I haven't bought dies yet for the 300 win mag but I bought a few boxes of high quality factory ammo to get it...

My new FN Win Model 70 Supergrade

I have always wanted a model 70 but I have been less than impressed with what has been coming out of New Haven the last 10 years. Well with the new guns being built at the FN south Carolina Plant on state of the art equipment I have heard great things about these guns so I picked up a...

Understood on the wood Cooper makes a nice looking stick as I have one in wood as well. However, mine is not only heavy (more than 8lbs), it has been given the blessing of being good looking as well.... Good luck with your load development here is my stick just so you can see a pretty composite.
