7mm STW Brotherhood - For those who shoot the 7mm Shooting Times Westerner

What needs improving, speed, group size ??? gun) You may have a winner already and you don't have to wear your barrel out playing around with different loads that may or may not give you a slight increase in performance. :D On the other hand you might be like some of us who like trying...

7mm STW Brotherhood - For those who shoot the 7mm Shooting Times Westerner

Just a word of caution, These loads were hot in my 27" 7mm STW, 82grs Retumbo with 160 Accubonds and way too hot 84grs Retumbo with 162 A max's. Work your way up carefully and once you've found your first signs of pressure back off by at least 2 grains and work from there down to find your most...

You'll find that NF has tighter specs with their products, so why bother with the cheaper stuff, stick with the best gun) You won't regret it.:D

There would have to be one hell of a demand for it before lapua would produce it, We have quality concerns with certain brands of 7mmSTW brass. (except Nosler which is way too pricey) We'd love Lapua 7mm STW brass.

Not trying to hyjack this thread but I'm using 250 TSX Barnes VV140 rifle powder at 2500fps in my 9.3 x 62 which shoots under an inch, I had high hopes for the Nosler 250gr Accubonds( beautiful bonded, good BC projectile) but rifle didn't like them which was a pity but I am in no way handicapped...

You'd all be most welcome down under, generally we can hunt year round on public land. There is also some excellent private free range hunting if your budget allows. You'd have to find you way here and back as I'm only a poor lumber mill worker but I'd certainly feed and house you at no cost and...

Hey you guys with your fire breathing 6.5 dragons are in a different zone than most, but we have afew down here with the same itch. :D Not my cup a tea but my 2nd choice would have to be the 6.5 saum which I think is a beautiful case design and although not as quick as the wsm it feeds better...

    blaser new calibers

They look good, I think necking the 300 Blaser magnum case down to 7mm should produce a good long range catridge to dupilcate 7mm STW type performance but with the bonus of high quality Norma brass. Something Hornady failed to capitalise on with their 375 Ruger case.lightbulb
