Hog bait that squirrels (and deer, doves, etc.) don't like

I've used it. It smells a little like creosote. They'll rub all over what it's put on. I usually find a tree/post they use to rub on and put it on that. Jay

Custom Left Hand Rifles - 4 to 6 week completion times on left hand rifles

Re: Left Hand Rifles - How much interest is there in "Ready To Ship" left hand rifles Hi Len, I'll agree w/ the others that having a few LH rifles to offer would be great. If they can be offered at a compareable price and not that much longer lead time it would be great. Is the problem not...

Hand lapping vs. fire lapping vs. traditional barrel break in

I should of mentioned this is from E.R. Shaw. I don't know if this qualifies as a custom or production. Jay

Hand lapping vs. fire lapping vs. traditional barrel break in

Another question from a newbie. What's the general concensus on fire lapping, hand lapping or just shoot-clean, shoot-clean, etc for breaking in a new barrel? Or is it lap the barrel then still shoot-clean as usual? Thanks. Jay

New guy from Wilm, NC -Question

Hi Everyone, I'm just starting in long range hunting/shooting. I've ordered a .260 Rem w/ a 1-8" twist but I have the option of 1-9" twist. I plan on shooting bullets in the 140gr range. My logic is faster spin to stabilize heaver bullets. Any suggestions? Better bullet weight? Comments. Thanks. Jay
