Second on this one. The 100-grain TTSX could be subbed if HH's weren't in hand. The most important factor IMHO is gun fit. It can be a "make or break" issue.
Trade what you've accumulated for a pre-64 fwt in .308. Pull the .308 barrel and sell it. Buy a Douglas XX featherweight contour .284 barrel and have it chambered for your 7-08. Or.. you might want to consider the .284 Win.
Gotta remember. We generally don't hear from the customers who are satisfied with a product, mostly only the ones who are not. Guys who are average shots sometimes think that spending a couple thousand bucks on a rifle will clean up a bunch of their personal problems. Ain't likely to happen...
