.243 AI. I got a barrel enroute, dies, Lapua brass, all the goods...question:

Not wanting to waste primers fire forming, so is there anything bad about just having a regular .243 shooter till I get 50 or so formed and then start the tweaking? I can't imagine it would cause any damage, but I don't know everything. Thanks.

You mean just shooting regular 243 loads out of the 243ai barrel?
 
@BFD Guns , a bit of advice I have is that because the AI chamber is designed to be a slight crush fit on the saami case, you'll want to make sure you bolt lugs are greased good so you reduce the chance of galling them when closing the bolt. My AI chamber is a pretty tight fit on the case I'm fireforming and I neglected the lug grease. I galled one of my bolt lugs.
