Hi, I'm Tony and live in the Phoenix area after spending 35+ years in Colorado. I do not miss the winters living at 9000 feet there! I enjoy reading the threads and activities of other members. Tough tag to draw. There are some bruisers in (40) Buddy of mine is a taxidermist in Owyhee Co. Biggest forked horn I ever saw came out of that area. 28 wide, and heavy, but just a 2 point. How did your hunt turn out?

I was there opening week and the big guys started showing up the last 2 days. If I could have stayed the second week I'm sure I would have seen some bruisers. I harvested a respectable buck I was happy with. Great hunt and location. I had a spring bear hunt earlier that year and just threw in an application because I already had the NR license. Got pretty lucky I'd say!
