Way out of my price range but the 1st and 2nd M70's evert produced is a hell of piece of history. Some high roller collector will snatch em up im sure. It's worth whatever someone's willing to pay
I'm actually really surprised Winchester sold #1 to the open market. Kinda seems like they'd atleast kept #1 for themselves

agree. Surprised they're not already in their possessionSeems like several years ago, when serial #1 surfaced, a gun mag had an article about it. I think they said Winchester didn't feel like the changes they made going from the model 54 to the 70 were that significant, so they just sold them all.
